- DM us your photos via Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter

- When sending in your photos, please include your social media handle and/or how you'd like us to credit you so we can do so accordingly

Please note that if there is a certain edition of The Anchor's newsletter you'd like to see your event covered in: the sooner you get the tip to us, the better. Currently we are only publishing newsletters on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For instance:
- If you have an event that is happening on a Monday, you'll want to get your tip to us the Monday or Tuesday prior so we can get it into the Thursday edition
- If you have an event that's happening on a Tuesday, you'll need to get it into us by the Friday before at the latest so that we can cover it in the Tuesday newsletter
Events
Because we publish newsletters two times a week, our events are shared in the Thursday edition. While we only list events from Thursday to Sunday due to space limitations, we can list a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday event in our neighbourhood bulletin section with enough notice.
To list your event:
- Reply to our New West Anchor newsletters, which we send out each Tuesday and Thursday
- Email us at [email protected]
- To ensure we see your event, we ask that you please do not DM information over Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or TikTok, as they can sometimes end up in separate folders; email has been the best way for us to ensure local events are included.
When you send us your event info, do let us know the following:
- Who is hosting it?
- What's the event for? (Fundraiser? Not-for-profit? Arts/crafts fair?)
- The date(s) it'll be happening
- Any additional links, email addresses, and/or phone numbers you can share with us (links to buy tickets, learn more info, registration, etc.)
